Background of the Study
Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) play a critical role in providing humanitarian aid, social services, and development programs in Biu LGA. Donor funding is a significant source of financial support for these NGOs. However, the management and allocation of donor funds require sound accounting practices to ensure transparency, accountability, and the effective use of resources.
